Description

Rainbow Fish and the Big Blue Whale is a good resource to use for EYFS teaching and learning as part of Literacy and to help children explore how to manage their feelings and behaviour.

In this story, a big blue whale is viewed with suspicion by smaller fish who become suspicious of the way the whale is staring at them. Being viewed with suspicion makes the whale feel angry and he lashes out. An unhappy situation for everyone!!

Parents and EYFS practitioners can explore the issue of perception at a level which young children could relate to e.g the behaviour of the school of smaller fish towards the Big Blue Whale could be discussed together with the whale’s reaction.

This pack consists of an audio cassette (read by Blair Brown) and a mini board book.
